Greywalls Hotel at Gullane in East Lothian, Scotland, was the setting at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 13, for the marriage of Anna Katherine Freeland and Cody Raymond McGrath. The Rev. Morag Adams officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Betty and Byron Freeland, 6001 Greenwood Road. Her grandparents are the late Louise and Bowen Thompson of Luxora and the late Agnes and V.E. Freeland of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Mary and Lawrence McGrath of Mountain Home. He is the grandson of the late Dorothea and Raymond McGrath and the late Ruthanne and Joseph Kratochvil, all also of Mountain Home.

Vows were exchanged at the hotel's formal Edwardian garden, which was filled with summer flowers. Music was by bagpipe player Donald MacKenzie.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory ballgown of silk taffeta with a pleated bodice. Her cathedral-length veil was trimmed with ribbon and she carried a bouquet of ranunculus, white roses, tulips and freesia.

Michael Elizabeth Freeland of Dallas served as her sister's maid of honor. She wore a navy, gold and white lace dress and carried a bouquet of white roses and tulips.

Best man was Zachary Augustus McGrath of Nashville, Tenn., brother of the groom.

A reception in the hotel's garden overlooking Muirfield Golf Course on the Firth of Forth followed the ceremony.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in managerial finance from the University of Mississippi at Oxford, where she was a member of Chi Omega. She is a vice president at Stephens Inc.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in financial management and investment from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where he was a member of Sigma Chi. He is also a vice president at Stephens.

The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
