Pine Bluff woman dies after collision

A Pine Bluff woman died Monday after the sport utility vehicle in which she was a passenger collided with another car at an intersection.

Lt. David Price, a spokesman with Pine Bluff Police Department, said Anetra Wyatt, 32, of Pine Bluff was southbound on Blake Street around 11:16 a.m., while Floyd Wooley, 73, of Pine Bluff was northbound, turning west onto 13th Avenue.

Floyd Wooley’s wife, Alice Wooley, 73, was a passenger in his 2007 Nissan Quest at the time of the accident, Price said.

Both vehicles drove into the busy traffic signal-controlled intersection and collided, Price said.

Alice Wooley was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 12:05 p.m., police said.

Floyd Wooley and Wyatt were also taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center, where they were treated for their non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Any additional information about this accident can be reported to the Pine Bluff Police Traffic Division at (870) 850-2450 or the dispatch center at (870) 541-5300.
