WHAT: Cheerios Protein

THE SKINNY: I'm not much of cereal person. Which is probably because I'm not much of a milk person. Which is probably because I'm not a get-to-the-store-regularly person.
Also, cereal -- particularly the kind with skimpy 3/4-cup servings -- always leaves me feeling insatiable an hour or so later.
The new Cheerios Protein, available in Oats & Honey and Cinnamon Almond and with a serving size as a full 1 1/4 cups, boasts 7 grams of filling protein (11 grams when 1/2 cup of skim milk is added). That's 4 more than a serving (1 cup) of regular Cheerios.
Just be aware, it also has slightly more than twice the calories than regular Cheerios. Not only is there more protein in this tasty sweetened cereal with extra texture from granola clusters, there is significantly more sugar.
Regular Cheerios contains 1 gram of sugar per serving. Cheerios Sugar, er Cheerios Protein, contains 16 to 17 grams per serving.
