A Conway woman crashed and flipped her car Friday while on her way to lunch in Little Rock.

Shortly before 11 a.m., Sharon Bone, 74, drove over a large curb in the parking lot of Franke’s Cafeteria, located at 11121 N. Rodney Parham Road, and hit two trees before flipping her car, a Little Rock police officer said. Bone was briefly stuck inside the car before Pulaski County sheriff's office deputies were able to break a window and get her out.

Bone’s cousin, Peggy Deaton, 73, of Bryant said Bone was on her way to meet friends at the restaurant and crashed before Deaton arrived. Deaton said she was standing there for about five minutes before she realized it was Bone’s car.

A witness, Gary Anderson, 29, said he called in the crash and watched police break the glass to get Bone out.

“She was a little in disarray when she came out, but she seemed all right,” Anderson said.

Deaton said Bone was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center after the accident for an evaluation.
