NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Lightning delayed the start of the game between Temple and Vanderbilt on Thursday night.
The game was scheduled to start at 8:15 p.m. Central, but lightning pushed that back to approximately 9:50 p.m.
Earlier delays included estimated kickoff times of 9 p.m. and 9:13 p.m., but additional lightning strikes continued to alter the schedule. Players took the field at approximately 9:15 p.m. to begin warm-ups before being sent back to the locker rooms after more lightning in the area.
