A suspect has been arrested in a shooting that injured a 10-year-old girl earlier this week.

Ray McGuire, 18, is facing two counts of first-degree battery and six counts of committing a terroristic act in the Monday night shooting in the 2100 block of South Pine Street.

The girl, who was shot twice, was treated at Arkansas Children's Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

An arrest report says McGuire fired "numerous rounds," hitting the girl and an adult. That victim's condition wasn't clear.

No information on the motive was included in the report.

McGuire, who was arrested Thursday night, remained in the Pulaski County jail Friday with bail not yet set pending an initial court appearance.
