Denise Hanson

Where I live: I live with my husband, Fletcher, and our miniature dachshund, Lexi, in a townhouse in North Little Rock's Argenta neighborhood.

Occupation: I am the director of property management for Colliers International, where I specialize in commercial property management. I oversee 11.2 million square feet from our firm's total of more than 14 million square feet.

My favorite space is: Our den. I love the high ceilings and all of the artwork that my husband and I have collected and hung in this space.

Why? We are right on the trolley line, a hop, skip and a jump from Dickey-Stephens Park and the Arkansas River. My husband can walk to his office, and I am a short commute from mine. From our den I can watch people walk by, hear and see the trolley rumble along, watch fireworks at Dickey-Stephens and hear the action at the baseball games and -- best of all -- experience beautiful sunsets. The room is flooded with light, action and the happy noises of all of the fun going on around my neighborhood. This is the place that I feel most at home and relaxed.

If I could make one change to improve this space I would: Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing! It reminds me of all of the great things about living in the heart of the city. I wouldn't have it any other way.
