2 pedestrians among 3 killed on Arkansas roads

GREENBRIER, Ark. — Arkansas State Police say two pedestrians are among three people who have been killed on Arkansas roadways.

The agency says 38-year-old Billy Hendrix of Malvern died Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle on U.S. 65 in Greenbrier. A police report says a vehicle being driven northbound went off the highway and struck Hendrix. Hendrix was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, 58-year-old Linda Davis died when she was struck while crossing a highway in Helena-West Helena. The report says it was foggy at the time and the driver said he didn't see the woman.

Also on Friday, 75-year-old Barbara Calhoun of Warren died when she made a left hand turn from Highway 54 onto Highway 63 and into the path of an oncoming vehicle in Jefferson County.
