8 arrested in connection with drug trafficking in Hot Springs

Eight men were arrested after they were linked to a large-scale drug trafficking operation in Hot Springs, United States Attorney Conner Eldridge announced Friday.

Mark Alston, 39; Cedric Easter, 30; Jake Parker, 27; Quayshaun Walker, 23; Brian Robbins, 33; Jerry Lee Rudkin, 29; Jasmer West, 25; and Larry Nevels, 29, all from the Hot Springs area, were arrested "on federal crimes involving large-scale drug trafficking of methamphetamine," Eldridge said in a statement.

The investigation is being handled by the Department of Homeland Security and the 18th Judicial East Drug Task Force.
