A burglar forced his way into an eyeglass shop in Little Rock's Heights neighborhood and made off with an estimated $50,000 in merchandise.
Little Rock police said they responded about 7:30 p.m. Friday to Burrow's & Mr. Frank's Optical at 5901 R St., finding the glass broken both on the front door and inside on a case holding luxury Cartier eyeglasses.
An unknown number of the frames were taken; the business owner later estimated the total value at $50,000, police said.
No arrests have been made, and no description of the assailant was available.
