Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright (Warren, Arkansas Razorbacks) made 4 catches for 123 yards and a touchdown on Sunday, an average of 30.8 yards per catch, and had 1 carry for 23 yards in a 16-14 road loss to Detroit.

It wasn’t Wright’s biggest day this season. He had 132 yards on 8 catches against Atlanta in week 4.

In Kansas City, Mo., Chiefs running back Knile Davis (Arkansas Razorbacks) had 9 carries for 11 yards and a touchdown, caught a 70-yard touchdown pass and returned a kickoff 29 yards to help the Chiefs rout the Oakland Raiders 31-13. Davis is averaging 3.2 yards per carry this season and has six rushing touchdowns. On defense, Chiefs defensive back Kelcie McCray (Arkansas State) made no tackles in Sunday’s game, but did make a key block on De’Anthony Thomas’ 81-yard punt return for a touchdown.

For the Raiders, Oakland running back Darren McFadden (Pulaski Oak Grove, Arkansas Razorbacks) had 2 carries for 13 yards.

In other games, Miami wide receiver Charles Clay (Little Rock Central) had 6 catches for 59 yards in the Dolphins’ 41-13 loss at New England.

New York Jets linebacker Demario Davis (Arkansas State) had 6 tackles, 5 unassisted, as the Jets slipped past the Tennessee Titans, 16-11, in Nashville, Tenn. Also in that game, Titans safety George Wilson (Arkansas Razorbacks) had 8 tackles, 6 unassisted.
