Days after a string of three packed performances at North Little Rock's Verizon Arena, country legend Garth Brooks praised the Arkansas crowd in a national television appearance.
Brooks was a guest on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, during which the conversation turned to a recent tour stretch that started in Chicago and was capped by three shows Thursday through Saturday at Verizon.
"Ending in Little Rock might have been one of the greatest shows I ever got to be a part of," Brooks said. "Not because of me or the band, because of the crowd."
Kimmel asked whether the "reaction of the crowd" determines how good a show will ultimately be. Brooks agreed and said putting on a great show "doesn't have anything to do with Garth Brooks."
Brooks drew huge crowds to Verizon, which added a third show almost immediately after tickets went on sale to high demand for the first two performances.
