MEMPHIS — A Memphis Fire Department spokesman said a man is dead after a blaze at a home in the southwest part of the city.
Lt. Wayne Cooke told The Commercial Appeal that firefighters were called to the residence Wednesday evening and put out the blaze in 13 minutes. He said fire crew later found a male victim inside the home.
The man's identity wasn't immediately released.
Cooke said the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
