Employees thwart robbery attempt, police say

A man attempted to rob a Little Rock bank Thursday morning, but bank employees were able to lock him out, police said.

Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said a man attempted to rob the Bank of the Ozarks, at 11102 N. Rodney Parham Road at about 11 a.m.

Davis said the robber is black with dreadlocks, and approached the bank wearing a black hoodie and a mask.

Bank employees locked the magnetic doors before the man could get inside the bank. The man never displayed a weapon, Davis said.
