Grief Support Group

MAUMELLE — The Maumelle Senior Wellness Center, 550 Edgewood Drive, is offering a grief support group from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. The group is open to all center members who have experienced loss. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss their losses and gain insight into developing coping skills. CONWAY — The Faulkner County Library will present musical group Still on the Hill for an afternoon of fun for the whole family at 3 p.m. Jan. 2. Health Screenings

MAUMELLE — The Maumelle Senior Wellness Center, in connection with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, will offer screenings for peripheral arterial disease from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Jan. 5. The screenings, for people older than 50, are free and open to the public. Blood-pressure and glucose readings will also be available. The center is at 550 Edgewood Drive, Suite 400. Small Business Training

RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will present Website in a Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 8 at Arkansas Tech University. Participants in this hands-on workshop will be taken step by step through creating a free account and building an attractive, functional, five-page website using Weebly. The cost to attend is $50.
