Timber is our pet of the week.

Timber is our pet of the week. He is a young male feist mix who is about 20 pounds. He was one of the many pets that were homeless after the April tornado, and he needs a home for the holidays.

Canine Close-Up

Rascal, a young border collie mix, is another tornado refugee who is still looking for his forever home. He would enjoy a home with a fenced backyard and another canine companion to play with.

Jack is an adult, light brown terrier mix who has physically recovered from his injuries sustained in the tornado but still does not like loud noises, so he does not go to adoption events. He is very loving and gets along well with other dogs.

Coco and Laurent are 2-year-old shepherd/hound mixes who are a bonded pair. Coco, a girl, has a darker coat and a cute underbite. Laurent, a boy, has a tan coat. They are great with children.

Max is an adult, male yellow Lab who would bring lots of energy and fun to your household. He gets along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a large, fenced-in backyard.

Featured Felines

Alley is a 7-year-old Norwegian forest/calico mix who is very sweet and loving. She needs a patient, loving home with owners who will give her time to adjust to a new environment.

Ava is a 5-year-old Turkish Angora/Somali mix who is very affectionate and playful. She would do best in a home as an only cat, although she gets along well with friendly dogs.

Cash is an adorable black-and-white, 6-month-old boy who is very loving and cuddly.

Buffy is a 7-year-old, light orange tabby who is very sweet and loving. She would do best as an only pet because she is on a special diet that is good for her skin allergies.

Ernest is a 6-year-old lynx point Siamese and Julio is a 7-year-old, long-haired, light orange-and-white kitty. They are very playful boys who must go together to a home with no other pets. They need a special person who will give them the time they need to adjust to a new home.

Timber and friends can be adopted through Maumelle Friends of the Animals. More information is available at (501) 240-6316 and www.maumellefoa.org.
