Man jailed, said to expose 1 to HIV

A Little Rock man was arrested Sunday for knowingly exposing someone to human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, according to police.

Jonathan Scott, 25, was arrested at Family Dollar, 5200 W. 65th St., about 3:40 p.m. He is accused of having sex with someone without telling him that he had HIV.

The charge is a Class A felony, punishable by a prison sentence of six to 30 years and a fine of up to $15,000.

Scott was booked into Pulaski County jail, and his bail was set at $10,000. He remained on the jail's roster late Sunday.
