SUV hits 2 trees; driver, 47, killed

A man died early Sunday morning after his SUV struck two trees, according to the Arkansas State Police.

The wreck occurred on Mountain Harbor Road near Mount Ida about 12:20 a.m.

Kenneth Reich Adams Jr., 47, of Royal, was driving a Chevrolet TrailBlazer south on Mountain Harbor Road when he left the road, overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle.

Adams left the road again and struck two trees, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
