Memphis police have found an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease who disappeared Christmas Day.
Authorities announced shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday that Laurence Herron, who disappeared from the 1400 block of Havana Street in south Memphis between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, had been found.

Laurence Herron disappeared from the 1400 block of Havana Street in south Memphis between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, the Memphis Police Department said in a statement.
Herron was described as 5 foot 4 inches, about 150 pounds, wearing a black hat with red writing, glasses, a blue jacket, black jeans and black shoes.
