Skull found near Ogden has possible bullet holes

OGDEN — The Little River County sheriff said a skull found by a girl at a bus stop has two holes in the back of it that could be from gunshots.

Sheriff Gary Gregory told the Texarkana Gazette that it's possible the person was killed execution-style.

The skull and bones found nearby were previously identified as those of 26-year-old Zachery Wagner, who was the suspect in a February truck arson. Wagner had been missing since the fire.

A first-grader found the skull in October and thought it was a Halloween decoration. Her parents called police.

Medical examiners identified the body but have not determined a cause of death.

Deputies believe a dog took the skull to the bus stop. Elsewhere authorities retrieved an arm, a back, a torso and a leg.
