A Searcy man was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in White County, the Arkansas State Police said.
James P. Marsh, 55, was driving a 2000 Dodge north on Graham Road in Judsonia about 2:09 a.m. when the vehicle left the road and hit a tree, according to a state police preliminary accident report.
Marsh was taken to White County Medical Center and pronounced dead, the report states.
It was unclear what caused the vehicle to leave the road. The weather was clear and the road dry at the time of the wreck, the report states.
Marsh’s death marked the 459th death in vehicle accidents on Arkansas roads in 2014, according to state police figures.
