Arkansas Weekend: Have a heart

By The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

This article was published February 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

The Old State House Museum’s 1885 House of Representatives Chamber was once full of politicians, debate and bluster. Saturday it will be full of hearts, flowers and some very busy children, Jennifer Nixon writes in Thursday's Arkansas Weekend section.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and the museum is throwing a Valentine Fair,

The museum’s education director, Georganne Sisco, says, “If you’re looking for something to do with your kids, it’s free. We don’t charge. Not only can they come and spend some time with their family and do hands-on activities, they can also see the museum if they haven’t visited here before.”

Read tomorrow's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for the full story.
