Morrilton man wins $2 million on scratch-off

A Morrilton man is $2 million richer after winning the top jackpot on a scratch-off ticket.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said Donald Hill claimed his prize Wednesday morning after he bought a winning $2 Million Gold Rush ticket at Joe's One Stop in Morrilton.

"He told his wife first and is planning to use his prize to pay off his home and all of his bills, the rest into savings and taking care of his grandchildren," lottery spokesman Kevin McCarthy said in a statement.

The Gold Rush game, which sells for $20 a ticket, was launched in January 2013.
