A Mena man was killed Wednesday after his vehicle overturned and he was ejected, the Arkansas State Police said.
Timothy Copelin, 39, was driving a Geo Tracker east on Arkansas 375 just west of Mena in Polk County when his vehicle drifted off into the ditch, he overcorrected and the Tracker overturned, according to a preliminary state police report.
Copelin was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead about an hour later at Mena Medical Center, according to the report.
The weather was cloudy and the road dry at the time, authorities said.
Copelin was the 31st person to die in accidents on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary state police figures.
