100 YEARS AGO Feb. 6, 1914 FORT SMITH — To guard against further attempts to wreck trains, the Missouri Pacific-Iron Mountain system has established a night patrol along its tracks several miles both ways from McKey, Okla., where the past two attempts within six months have been made to wreck the Kansas City-Hot Springs special.
