Crews worked Sunday afternoon to extinguish a fire at a house in North Little Rock.

Firefighters were called before 1 p.m. to the blaze at a house at the corner of West 36th and Allen streets.

White-gray smoke was coming from different parts of the single-story, wood-paneled home as firefighters moved in and out of the interior, which appeared to have suffered considerable damage.

The cause of the fire wasn't yet known and it wasn't clear if the house was occupied.

There were no preliminary reports of injuries.
