W.Va’s accident echoes in state

When industrial chemicals leaked into the Elk River and left about 300,000 West Virginians without safe tap water for days in January, some central Arkansans saw the accident as a frightening reminder of the potential for disaster if Exxon Mobil’s crude-oil pipeline ever ruptured in the Lake Maumelle watershed.
