LITTLE ROCK — Activist and comedian Dick Gregory is to speak at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock.
Gregory's appearance is set for 7 p.m. Feb. 21.
The event will begin with a screening of the documentary COINTELPRO: The FBI's War on Black America, and Gregory will speak after the film.
Gregory is known as a performer for his social satire that challenged stereotypes of blacks. He was active in the civil-rights movement and other political causes.
There is no charge to attend but seating is limited and reservations are required, either by calling the center or reserving online at MosaicTemplarsCenter.com.
