HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A southwestern Kentucky woman has been charged with DUI-Murder after prosecutors say she killed a man with her car after an evening of drinking.
The Kentucky New Era reported that a Christian County grand jury handed up the indictment of 33-year-old Jessica N. Tucker of Hopkinsville on Friday. Tucker is charged with going the wrong way on Dec. 30, striking two vehicles.
Police say Tucker's passenger, 28-year-old Brandon Tolliver of Hopkinsville, died in the wreck. Tucker and two other people were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Tucker told officers she had been drinking earlier and smelled of alcohol after the crash.
Tucker's bond was set at $100,000.
