A Hope man is in custody after an argument with his wife turned physical, police said.
The Hope Police Department said Antonio Grigsby was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, second-degree domestic battery and interfering with emergency communication about 3 a.m. Sunday at a home at 500 Cherry St.
Grigsby was arrested after “an altercation between Grigsby his wife,” police said. Grigsby is currently being held at the Hempstead County jail and there has been no word on his bail, according to authorities.
