A Bryant man has been charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl, police said.
The girl's parents told officers that she had been spending the night with a friend and while there was sexually attacked by her friend's stepfather, the Bryant Police Department said in a statement.
Michael Garrett Jr., 37, was arrested on a charge of rape and four counts of second-degree sexual assault. Bail was set at $50,000, police said.
