Arkansan’s work is focus of exhibit

“Carroll Cloar: A Road Less Traveled,” an exhibit of work by the acclaimed Arkansas native, opens with a reception at 6 p.m. today at Greg Thompson Fine Art, 429 Main St., North Little Rock. The reception is part of the Argenta Third Friday Art Walk.

There are 23 pieces in the show, which is a companion exhibit to the retrospective “The Crossroads of Memory: Carroll Cloar and the American South,” which opens Feb. 28 at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock.

The Thompson gallery show will hang through April 12.
