The Little Rock School District is taking applications through Monday from the families of children who will be in third, fourth and fifth grades next school year and who want to attend the new Geyer Springs High Ability Academy.
The school is at 5240 Mabelvale Pike.
The school program, approved by the Little Rock School Board earlier this month, is for students who live within the boundaries of the school district and those who have been identified as gifted and talented.
Applications are available in the Student Registration Office at 501 Sherman St., or they can be downloaded from the district’s website: lrsd.org. All applications must be submitted in person to the Student Registration Office to be time- and date-stamped on or before Monday.
