Inspections will require lane closures this week on Interstate 40 east and west of Russellville, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Two crews inspecting pavement markers from the Johnson and Franklin county line to Exit 125 in Faulkner County will need “very short rolling” lane closings affecting the outside lanes in both directions beginning Monday.
The lane closures will last from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday, weather permitting, according to the department. Traffic will be controlled by trucks with flashing lights and warning signs.
