Speaker to discuss pregnancy issues

The chief executive officer of an organization that is waging a campaign to prevent teen and unplanned pregnancy will speak Wednesday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock.

Sarah Brown is CEO of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, a private and independent nonprofit organization.

Brown’s speech is scheduled for noon and will last about an hour. In her speech,she plans to include Arkansas statistics, discuss trends and offer possible solutions for policymakers, the school said in a news release.

Admission to the speech, which is at Sturgis Hall, is free. Reservations are available by emailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling (501) 683-5239.

Sturgis Hall is the former Choctaw Railway Station building on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center, which is at 1200 President Clinton Ave.
