RUSSELLVILLE — The University of Arkansas at Monticello's Brandon Wilson is the Great America Conference men's Player of the Week, while Henderson State's Krystal Beachum and Harding's Kristen Celsor are the co-women's Players of the Week.
The conference announced the awards Monday.
Wilson was chosen men's Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in wins over Arkansas Tech and Harding.
Beachum was selected after averaging 37 points and 10 rebounds per game, including a GAC and school record 41 points in a double-overtime win over Southwestern Oklahoma. She had 33 points in a loss to Northwestern Oklahoma.
Celsor shares the women's award after averaging 26.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in wins over Southern Arkansas and UAM.
