Authorities in Hot Springs are looking for two men involved in the aggravated robbery of a convenience store where a store clerk was threatened with a knife.

According to a statement from the Garland County sheriff’s office, the robbery occurred around 4:45 a.m. Thursday, when two men walked into an E-Z Mart store located at 4600 Central Ave. One of the men purportedly grabbed a Gatorade from a cooler, walked up to the counter and told the clerk to “give him the money in the drawer” while placing a knife on the counter.

The second man purportedly watched the door while the robbery occurred, according to the news release.

The clerk gave a bag containing an unknown amount of money to the robber, and the two men fled the scene. No description was given for either man involved in the crime. No one was hurt during the incident, police said.
