Woman: Men took phone, beer, $50
A homeless woman flagged down Little Rock officers early Wednesday morning and told them she had just been robbed.
Officers stopped at 1800 Wright Ave., where they spoke with Linda Line, who told them that shortly after midnight, two men jumped her and told her to hand over all her things.
Line, 54, told officers the men “wrapped her scarf around her neck and began to choke her,” police reports said, and the pair made off with the woman’s cellphone, $50 and a can of beer.
According to police, Line was “highly” intoxicated, and efforts to get thorough descriptions of her assailants were unsuccessful.
The two robbers were described only as black men in their late teens or early 20s wearing dark-colored clothing.
