Little Rock authorities said Wednesday that an Arkansas Baptist College student who hadn't been seen since Feb. 26 has been found.

The Little Rock Police Department didn't share additional details on where Brittany Eggerson, 18, was located after having been missing eight days.

Eggerson was dropped off at school Feb. 26 and was last seen in class about 9 a.m., the Little Rock Police Department said in a statement. Her family hasn't seen or heard from her since.

A fellow student told Eggerson's grandmother that she overheard Eggerson trying to solicit a ride to Jacksonville, according to Little Rock police. Eggerson's last known address is 9020 Higgins Switch Road in Little Rock.

"Ms. Eggerson is mildly autistic and is easily influenced," the statement added. Police spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis said no foul play is suspected at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to call detective Richard Kindervater at (501) 371-4737 or a Violent Crimes detective at (501) 371-4660.
