TEXARKANA - Texarkana police have arrested a man in a Tuesday shooting death.
Anthony King, 21, was arrested without incident Wednesday at the Bi-State Justice Building on a capital murder charge in the killing of DeMarquis Reeves, 25, Texarkana police spokesman Kristi Mitchell said in a news release.
While police responded to that shooting, a second 911 call led authorities to Ashley Street, where Devin White, 21, was found with multiple gunshot wounds, an earlier Texarkana police release states. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
King sought treatment at an area hospital for a gunshot wound later Wednesday evening, the earlier news release states.
Texarkana police said they think the shootings were related, and additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
