NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police say a New Year's Day shooting left two people dead and one wounded.
According to media reports, police responding to reports about a gunshot victim shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday found two men who had been shot. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Officer Chris Amos says a third victim, a woman, was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Names of the victims and other details were not immediately released.
