Fire crews responded shortly before 5 p.m. to a small fire at the Metropolitan Tower, 425 W. Capitol Ave., in downtown Little Rock, according to Little Rock Fire Department spokesman Capt. Evan Woolf.
While it was unclear what caused the fire, Woolf said the fire was inside a wall of the building. Firefighters cut a small hole in the wall and sprayed water to contain the blaze.
Woolf said it was unclear whether anyone was evacuated from the building during the fire.
