Oak Park Baptist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, for the marriage of Amanda Michele Stauber and James Tyler Turner. The Rev. Jeff Herring officiated.

Karol and James Stauber, 7 Camellia Circle, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Bertha and James W. Highfill and the late Joyce and James Stauber, all of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Kecia McClure Turner and James Turner, both of Troy, Tenn. His grandparents are Dianne and Wayne McClure of Cacye, Tenn., and Joyce and the late Don Turner, also of Troy.

The aisle was lined with iced silver trees,artificial snow and cylinder vases filled with candles.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory lace and tulle trumpet-style gown pinned at the belted waist with a brooch. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas.

Maid of honor was Whitney Lawshe Robinson of Jonesboro. Bridesmaids were Carrie Wampler of Richmond, Ky.; Tiffani Childers of North Little Rock; Ashlyn Kohler of Jonesboro; Lauren Overman of Memphis; Jessica Curtis, Amanda Bain and Madison Turner, all of Little Rock; and Jordan Brown of Conway. They wore mercury-colored chiffon one-shoulder gowns and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Grace Johnson of Little Rock was flower girl. Ring bearers were Tristan Irwin of Cordova, Tenn.; Ethan Irwin of Benton; and Zane Reynolds of Dumas.

Serving as best man was Tra Faulkner of Nashville, Tenn. Groomsmen were Spencer Jeu and John Fray, both of Jonesboro; P.J. Brumley of Manila; Josh Ford of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; Brian Lisko of Hazen; Michael McKinney of Martin, Tenn.; and Zach Stauber of Jacksonville, Fla., brother of the bride.

A reception at The Loft 1023 followed the ceremony. Arrangements of white hydrangeas decorated tables.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She is director of marketing for First National Bank.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis in physical education from ASU. He is a teacher and varsity football coach at Wynne Public Schools.

The couple will make their home in Wynne after a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
