Pine Bluff man, 21, arrested in LR shooting

A 21-year-old Pine Bluff man was arrested after police said he was involved in another man's shooting, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Shortly before 10 a.m., police responded to a home located at 9704 Ithica Drive, the report states. When officers arrived, they found a man — later identified as Clinton York, 29, of Little Rock — suffering at least two gunshot wounds on a couch inside the home.

Police said York had been shot on his left arm and stomach. He was taken by MEMS to the UAMS Medical Center to be treated for his injuries and is in stable condition.

Officers interviewed witnesses about the shooting and later located Kenrossie Iverson walking on Pine Cone Drive. He was taken into custody and charged in first-degree battery.

Iverson was taken to Pulaski County jail, the report states.
