100 YEARS AGO Jan. 9, 1914 That “nothing but a good and great God can stop a woman’s tongue, once it is started,” was the opinion handed down by Justice of the Peace E.H. Sanders yesterday afternoon, in his decision in the case of Mrs. F.A. Hawkins, 2422 Valentine street, a white woman, whom he tried on a charge of disturbing the peace.
