Police have confirmed the identity of a body found earlier this week in a burning Little Rock apartment.

Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen said Friday that the victim has been identified as Jan Lowe, 48. Lowe was said to have been living in the unit at South Oak Apartments, 3401 Fair Park Blvd., at the time of the fire, according to a previous report by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Police and fire crews were called to the fire around 4:09 p.m. Tuesday, where they discovered Lowe’s body inside the house. Authorities later ruled the death a homicide. The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been named.

Anyone with information about the case may call police at (501) 371-4660.
