36th Street traffic circle is meeting topic

Little Rock officials plan to ask residents their opinions about planned improvements to the 36th Street traffic circle at a meeting later this week.

Those who live near 36th Street and John Barrow Road are invited to offer their comments Thursday about the planned improvements to the traffic circle at the intersection of Romine Road and West and 36th streets. The planned work will deal with landscaping, sidewalks, pavement, curbs and gutters, according to city officials.

Representatives from Little Rock's Public Works Civil Engineering Division and the city's project engineer will be at the meeting.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the West Central Alert Center, 4200 John Barrow Road, suites B and C, the city said.
