Drainage work that closed a lane on Cantrell Road in Little Rock on Monday will continue today and perhaps longer, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Crews clearing debris from drains along Cantrell Hill required the closing of the eastbound outside lane on Monday. The lane also will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, weather permitting.
If a large amount of debris is discovered, the work could extend through the remainder of the week, the department said in a statement released Monday.
