Marijuana, stolen guns found in search of NLR home

A felon was arrested on a number of charges Monday after authorities searched her North Little Rock home and found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and stolen guns, police said.

Tadasha Andrews, 36, remained in the Pulaski County jail early Tuesday on charges including maintaining a drug premise near a drug-free zone, theft by receiving, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a certain person.

Authorities searched Andrews' home in the 700 block of Rose Lane about noon, finding nearly 3 ounces of marijuana, scales, smoking devices and plastic baggies as well as about nine firearms, according to a North Little Rock Police Department arrest report. Several of the weapons were found to be stolen and one had its serial number defaced, the report added.

Andrews was arrested at the home.

Andrews, who is being held without bail pending an initial court appearance, is set to appear before a judge later Tuesday.

The report described Andrews as a felon. It didn't provide information on her criminal history, but online Pulaski County court records show 2005 convictions for possession of a controlled counterfeit substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
