Superstar musician Bruno Mars will make a visit to Verizon Arena in June.
Mars, who is known for hit songs such as "Grenade" and "Just The Way You Are," will make his appearance June 10 in North Little Rock as part of his Moonshine Jungle Tour, which kicks off worldwide next month.
Jana DeGeorge, spokesman for the arena, said the event starts at 8 p.m. and lowest ticket price will be $66. Tickets go on sale Feb. 3 at the Verizon Arena box office, BrunoMars.com and Ticketmaster.com.
R&B singer Aloe Blacc will serve as Mars’ supporting act for a majority of the U.S. leg of his tour, including his show in Verizon Arena.
The tour will make stops on three continents — Asia, North America and Australia — in 11 different countries. Mars will begin the tour in Perth, Australia, on Feb. 28 and wrap up Aug. 17 in Englewood, Colo.
The Grammy-nominated Mars last album, Unorthodox Jukebox, rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 list in 2012. In 2011, Mars was named one of Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World" and was also named to Forbes Magazine's "Top 30 Under 30" list.
Mars is scheduled to perform as part of the Super Bowl halftime show next month in New York City.
